I would like to thank the committee and especially my steward Ian Blackshaw who did a sterling job. I am not a lover of the double shows and today with the very hot conditions alot of the exhibits were showing that they had had enough after the first event. Some of my decisions would have been different in certain classes had the dogs performed differently and presentation is key. It was disappointing to find several exhibits with dirty teeth as there is no excuse for this. Also poor fronts, upright shoulders and short ribbing needs attention especially in the dogs.

1st: OXLEY Lokmadi Rio Bravo at Dinkidax An attractive puppy with super dark eye, one who surely has a bright future. Very nicely constructed throughout, lovely head and expression, well bodied for his age and super angulation. Moved well.

2nd: SIGGEE Ensigynes Little King Louis B/t dog with good head and eye, preferred the shoulders and feet of the winner, good length, moved ok

3rd: PATERSON Mauritz Incognito

1st: MCALPINE Lampcien Trick Or Treat Beautifully presented dog with very pleasing head and expression. Well up for size, but nicely constructed throughout but I would prefer a better front.

2nd: PATERSON Mauritz Incognito Misbehaving in previous class otherwise would have been second. Having to give way here to a much more mature puppy.

Junior Dog (6 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: BREESE Silkdown Samson Compact little dog of nice overall construction and well angulated hindquarters, moved soundly both coming and going. Would prefer a little more reach of neck.

2nd: HALL Cliffmere Folk Art At first I thought this was the winner but he was not happy and kept squatting. I liked his head, neck, front and shoulders with good front movement. Lovely moving keeping his topline.

Post Graduate Dog (3 Entries) Abs: 0 
1st: WOOD Wildstar Wreward b/t in super coat, condition and presented immacuately, sound and with a good topline, super front but he is just a little upright in shoulder. Moved out and back well with purpose and drive.

2nd: HALL Cliffmere Patrick Sway Zee More my type than the winner but not as schooled, nice head and expression with good dark eye, good overall construction and excellent shoulders, moved well

3rd: BEDFORD Dinkidudlor Kintango Dinka

1st: LATHAM-JACKSON Dolyharp Purcell Of Urishay Compact dog of good proportions, good front and well laid back shoulders and nice well angulated hindquarters. Good movement keeping a level topline. I would prefer better reach of neck to complete the picture.

2nd: KENNEDY Hanishan Blue Diamond Close up to one and same remarks apply. Eyecatching stylish mover. I preferred the feet on the winner.

2nd: BARNSDALE & HAYWARD-BARNSDALE Chriskim’s Trail Blazer Stylish shaded red, a little taller than winner, lovely head and neck, good forechest, super topline, lovely hindquarters, moved well with good drive

1st: SHUTT Donnadoon Starlight Just 6 months and a little bit timid. Good overall construction but a bit short in ribbing. Moved well for a baby of her age.

2nd: PALIN Sanmik Chocolat Princess Lovely choc/tan baby who is more mature than winner but would not co-operate with handler on the move which cost her first place.

1st: LOCKETT WALTERS & WALTERS Ralines Honeycrisp What a little beauty. Very elegant bitch with excellent front, good reach of neck and well laid back shoulders, good length of ribbing, feet and bone, sound movement and handler getting the best out of her gaining BP and RBPIS

2nd: DARE Larkhund Sofia Another stunner and unlucky to meet Honeycrisp. She is a little taller and I just preferred the reach of neck on winner.

1st: BELL Tolberg Cream Treat Sh.CM Very eye catching and well balanced throughout. Lovely head and expression, long reachy neck, super well laid back shoulders, excellent bone and feet. Good depth and length of ribbing, strong well angulated hindquarters. Moved with good drive and keeping a level topline at all times. Well handled. I was delighted to award her the CC

2nd: GEESON Abydachs Avada Kedavra Super little choc bitch, neat compact body everything as it should be. Just lost out to the winner on her more positive driving hind action and coat furnishings.
